Quarterly Regional Update: Legal Developments in the Consumer Protection Sector

The Update provides an overview of the key development in Vietnam with respect to Consumer Protection including (i) regulation on the provision of information relating to the National Steering Committee on anti-smuggling and fraudulent trading and counterfeiting of goods; (ii) implementation of development program on consumer protection activities for the period of 2016 – 2020; (iii) new labelling regulations on protecting consumers and (iv) funding support for anti-smuggling, fraudulent trading and counterfeiting of goods.
